Baby & Infant Swim Classes (Ages 6 months–18 months)

Thirty minutes of warm, gentle, play-based water introduction for your littlest swimmer. Our coaches know that getting a baby comfortable in the pool is about trust — not technique — and they are genuinely exceptional at it. Parents are always amazed at how quickly their baby relaxes, splashes, and starts asking to go back. We use "baby" and "infant" interchangeably because that's what parents search — and this is the program for them, whatever they call it.

Toddler Swim Classes (Ages 18 months–4 years)

Toddlers who cling. Toddlers who splash with reckless abandon. We've worked with both, and we love them all. Thirty-minute sessions built around water safety, water confidence, and making the pool feel like the best part of the day — because for a toddler, that's when learning actually sticks.

Private Swim Lessons for Kids (Ages 4+)

Sixty-minute private sessions built around your child's actual skill level, not a generic curriculum. We use a swim-float-swim approach because the goal is real water safety, not just keeping your kid busy in a pool. First-timers, kids who've had lessons before and stalled out, kids who just need a confidence boost — we've seen it all.

Ocean Readiness (Ages 8+)

You didn't come to Avalon to just swim in a pool. Ocean Readiness is our program for older kids and teens who want to be genuinely comfortable in the Atlantic — reading waves, building stamina, understanding rip currents. Shore families love this one.

Adaptive & Special Needs Swim Classes

Shore Swim School is proud to offer swim instruction for swimmers with autism, sensory processing differences, physical disabilities, and other special needs. Our coaches are trained to adapt every session — pace, communication, environment — to the specific needs of each swimmer. Private, patient, and completely non-judgmental. This is one of our most-requested programs, and one we care deeply about. Every swimmer deserves to feel safe in the water.

Adult Private Swim Lessons
