Every Swimmer Gets Matched With the Right Coach

We match every family with a coach before you book — that's how we make sure your swimmer gets the right fit from day one. Fill out the form below and Coach Celeste will follow up within 24 hours to talk through everything.

Whether your kiddo is 6 months old and touching water for the first time, or 8 years old and ready to tackle the ocean, or an adult who never learned to swim: we want to know about them before we pair you with a coach. That's how we get it right.

About Your Swimmer

By submitting this form, you'll be added to our email list for scheduling updates and swim tips. We respect your privacy and never share your information.

How it Works
(3 simple steps)

Step 1: Tell us about your swimmer

Fill out the short form below. It takes about 3 minutes. You'll share your swimmer's age, experience level, any special needs or concerns, and what you're hoping to get out of lessons. That's it. No lengthy paperwork, no commitments yet.

Step 2: We match you with the right coach

Coach Celeste personally reviews every submission. Based on what you've shared, we'll match your family with the coach whose teaching style, experience, and personality are the best fit for your swimmer. For our adaptive and special needs swimmers, this step is especially important: we want your child to feel safe, seen, and excited from day one.

Step 3: You'll hear from us within 24 hours

We'll reach out by email or text (your choice) within one business day to introduce your matched coach, talk through scheduling, and answer any questions. From there, you'll get access to your booking portal where you can pick lesson times that work for your family.

Why we don't do instant online booking

Here's the honest answer: we could set up a "Book Now" button and let anyone grab a time slot in 60 seconds. Plenty of swim schools do that. But we're not plenty of swim schools.

We're a small team of coaches who genuinely care about getting the match right. A toddler who's nervous around water needs a different approach than a confident 7-year-old ready for ocean skills. A swimmer with sensory sensitivities needs a coach trained in adaptive techniques. And a family visiting their vacation rental for one week has different goals than a local family swimming all summer.

We take a few extra minutes to learn about your swimmer so we can give them the right coach from the start. Not a random assignment. Not whoever happens to be available. The right fit. That's what makes Shore Swim School different, and it's why families come back to us summer after summer.

Who this is for

Shore Swim School serves swimmers of every age and ability across all of Cape May County, NJ. We bring private lessons to your home pool, your vacation rental pool, or your favorite local spot. We also offer year-round lessons at our Cape May Court House facility.

We work with babies and infants (4 months and up) learning water safety basics. Toddlers building confidence through play. Kids ages 4 and up working toward our Ocean-Ready swim skills. Adaptive and special needs swimmers of all ages, including those with autism, ADHD, sensory differences, and developmental needs. Teens and adults who want to learn, improve, or train. If you're in Cape May County, we'll come to you.

A few things families ask us:

  • Private lessons start at $60 for a 20-minute session and $110 for a 1-hour session. We offer package pricing, sibling discounts, and discounts for locals, educators, military, and healthcare workers. We'll go over pricing details when we reach out after your form submission.

  • That's exactly what we're set up for. A huge part of our families are vacationers renting in Avalon, Stone Harbor, Cape May, Sea Isle, Wildwood, and Ocean City. We'll match you with a coach, build a plan for your trip, and get your swimmer ocean-ready before you head home. Register early: summer spots go fast.
